As many Illinois schools struggle with proficiency rates, we must refocus on core subjects and enhance the learning experience. American schools should have the best resources and materials, which will not only reclaim our nation’s global education ranking but also put American children at the top of the list.

Illinois families deserve expanded access to federal school choice programs, transparency in education, and parental opt-outs for controversial topics. Skylar will advocate for children, parents, and educators in Washington, revamping the education system so our children can grow as they should and be the future of the world.

Skylar is a Pro-Life conservative and is opposed to abortion, with exceptions for the life of the mother, and women who are victims of rape or incest. Skylar wants Americans to have big, happy, and prosperous families, and will ensure that the right steps and actions are taken in Washington to ensure that mothers and families receive the support they need and deserve.

Having a child is a gift, and raising a family is a blessing. That doesn’t mean it’s always easy or planned. Expectant mothers and young families deserve support and compassion. That starts with lower costs and access to aid.

By expanding child tax credits, incentivizing American family growth, investing in pregnancy resource centers, and securing more funding for adoption centers, we can uplift and support young mothers and families regardless of whether their pregnancy was planned or unplanned.

Skylar recognizes this fact and promotes responsible gun ownership, gun safety, and Americans’ ability to carry a firearm. In addition to supporting safe firearm ownership for self-defense, recreation, and hunting, Skylar also supports school safety plans and measures, such as funding armed and trained school resource officers who will help keep our children safe.

The truth is: Bad guys don’t want to go places where people can protect and defend themselves and others—the children deserve protection.

Joe Biden and Congressional Democrats’ open border policies and the failed Sanctuary State and City policies of J.B. Pritzker and Brandon Johnson have been a disaster for America and Illinois.

Illegal immigrants have been prioritized over struggling Illinois families, Americans have been murdered at the hands of violent criminal aliens, and young lives have tragically been lost due to fentanyl poisoning. The Left’s mass illegal immigration policies are lawless, inhumane, and dangerous.

Migrant children are abused by the cartel daily, and both foreign and U.S. children have disappeared into international human trafficking rings – open border policies embolden the cartel, and children suffer because of it.

Congress must treat cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations, increase penalties for fentanyl traffickers, stop providing taxpayer-funded financial incentives to illegal aliens, complete the construction of the southern border wall, and ensure adequate resources for U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel.

In conjunction with implementing border security measures, Skylar will support legal immigration and pathways to citizenship, recognizing the positive impact that cultural exchange has had on our country and has contributed to America’s unique heritage.

The current system is broken and dangerous, but it doesn’t have to remain that way. Skylar will reach across the aisle and work to fix it.

Skylar has made Veteran support and outreach a priority of his youth. With The United States Patriots Society and Guardians Of Divinity, Skylar has delivered resources to America’s Heroes, celebrated their service, and provided counseling and support programs that assist in the military-to-civilian transition and the residual effects of PTSD.

In Congress, Skylar will expand on his dedication to Veteran support, increasing benefits, reforming the VA to ensure shorter wait times and quality care, and expanding tax benefits for our warriors.

In addition to Veteran resources, Skylar will be a strong advocate for America’s active duty servicemembers, keeping them out of new wars, increasing wages, and ensuring that they are equipped with the best resources. 

Washington has a serious spending problem. Congress must begin to balance the budget while protecting critical safety net programs such as Social Security and Medicare that Americans have paid into. 

Out-of-control federal spending is driving inflation and prices, increasing borrowing costs, and ballooning the future tax burden for American families. The national debt and persistent deficits are eroding the American Dream for future generations by limiting economic mobility, raising homeownership costs, threatening job stability, and endangering retirement security.

Skylar will help lead the charge in supporting fiscal responsibility in Washington, working to end wasteful spending and unnecessary aid packages that are forcing future generations of Americans into “debt slavery.”

Under Biden, life became less and less affordable. Americans are still trying to recover from his four years—especially those on a fixed income.

Skylar will work to ease financial burdens on Seniors, expanding tax relief on Social Security benefits, enhancing Medicare by lowering premiums, capping out-of-pocket costs, and broadening coverage for home care and telehealth to improve accessibility, affordability, and independence for American Seniors. 

Additionally, Skylar will direct support to community initiatives—such as senior centers, meal delivery programs, and caregiver tax credits, promoting independence and combating isolation—and he will also protect against elder fraud and financial scams.

This is the United States of America, the freest, greatest, and most prosperous nation on Earth. There is no reason why healthcare and prescription drugs should be as costly as they are in this country. Unfortunately, Washington has continued to implement unaffordable policies that lack transparency and real solutions.

Skylar has a multifaceted solution—Both hospitals and patients need Congress’s attention and require resources to deliver and receive needed quality care. In Congress, he will support hospital assistance programs and ensure that patients are given more choices and greater transparency, ensuring health equality for all.

Skylar comes from an upbringing surrounded by healthcare, with family and friends working in hospitals, doctors' offices, urgent cares, and outpatient facilities throughout the Chicagoland suburbs, including Christ Hospital—a major Level 1 trauma center. Skylar has a deep appreciation for America’s Healthcare Heroes and true compassion for those they serve.

The world is a safer place when America is strong. Skylar will advocate for Peace through Strength, support the rebuilding of our Military, work to secure our Homeland and Borders, and rebuild America’s Alliance Network throughout the world to ensure a future of Peace, Stability, and Prosperity for all.

Young girls and women should be able to chase their dreams freely without unfair and even dangerous interference from biological men. Skylar is against allowing biological men to compete in women’s sports and will protect the privacy and safety of female spaces, such as locker rooms and bathrooms. 

Skylar recognizes that young people can struggle with self-identity, but allowing drastic hormone treatments and transgender surgeries for our youth only further contributes to the mental health crisis that they may be facing.

While the left advocates for policies that sexualize children, expose them to graphic content, and destroy our daughters’ dreams, Skylar will keep men out of women’s sports, end taxpayer funding for sex change surgeries, stop taxpayer-funded schools from promoting gender transition, restore protections for women and girls, and ensure that America’s youth and families have access to mental health resources.
